MATAPEL UNICOAT pigment pastes are especially prepared paste forms of high grade pigments predispersed in synthetic resin, which is compatible with a wide range of polymers.
These pastes can be mixed directly into clear varnish by simple stirring without any use of dispersion machine. They are especially suitable for solvent base printing ink applications, especially those applications requiring high level gloss. MATAPEL UNICOAT has an extremely extensive applicability due to its compatibility to a very broad range of solvent systems
MATAPEL UNICOAT organic range consists of pigment, resin carrier and additives, with no-solvent added, forming creamy to pourable pastes of 100 % solid content and no volatile organics. Depending on the grade, the organic pigment concentration varies between 20 % - 40 %.
On the other hand, MATAPEL UNICOAT inorganic range contains a very tiny bit of solvent; therefore, it is still in the form of high viscous pastes which can be easily dispersed in various kinds of resins or solvents. The pigment concentration varies 70% - 80%.
Also available MATAPEL UNICOAT super white for tinting the others color to obtain the desired shade.
It is strongly recommended to close the container well after use, eventhough the composition of the MATAPEL UNICOAT protected against drying to some extent.
