A silicone fluid end-blocked with carboxyl-functionality, Magnasoft 800L carboxyl-terminated silicone fluid may provide durable, long-lasting waterproofing. Typically effective across virtually all types of chrome-tanned leather manufacturing processes (as tested by the Maeser method), Magnasoft 800L carboxyl-terminated silicone fluid may be an excellent candidate for demonstrating minimal impact on the coloring and shading of leather to prevent yellowing. Easily emulsified for the wet processing of leather, Magnasoft 800L carboxyl-terminated silicone fluid may impart a soft, smooth feel to processed leather.
