SM 2128 by Momentive Performance Materials is non-ionic emulsion based on SF18-350 silicone fluid. Exhibits good lubricity, easy release, high-temperature stability and low volatility of silicone fluid. It is chemically inert and water dispersible. Used as a mold release agent for food packaging, rubber & plastics and latex dip additive. Used in textiles for fiber and thread lubricants. SM 2128 is also used as water repellent agent for particle treatment.
